All workers in factories in the Lodz area were reported at the beginning of March 1955 to be required to take the so-called TOPL (Terenowa Obrona Przeciw Lotnicza) courses in antiaircraft defense. The courses are evidently being given at the factory sites. Political officers enforce attendance by the workers. 2. Skoda busts in the Lodz area have been adapted for conversion into "hospital vehicles" with a capacity of 20 persons.
