THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION editorials published by the Neues Deutsehlannewspaper on ' April 1955 is in full swing. Physical examinations of males from 18 to 20 years old who "volunteered" for a two-year term of service with the KVP were begun in East Berlin on 4 April 1954- the physical examinations lasted about two hours. About young men appeared. The whole affair was military in character. Examineeskw1$hes to serve in specific branches of the army were recorded. if possible all volunteers from Berlin would remain in the Berlin area. A desire to serve with the air force was given primary consideration. Jet fighter pilots will be trained in Kamenz. The induction will be made in April. 2. The contingents of KVP volunteers required will be made available by the SED.
