The Polish Navy took over the motor trawlers URAN and URANIA from the 25X1 fishing fleet and the NLPTUNIL from the Merchant Harine's Rescue Service (PnIskis Ratownictwo Okretowe) during the fall of 1954. The ships were are used as auxiliary ships during the latter part of World War a : BRT 299, length 39 meters, breadth 8 25X1 meters, draught 4 meters, 500 horsepower ,and a crew of 18 men.
