Between 1230 and 1430 on 16 April 1955,. the following artillery pieces and motor vehicles were parked in the Flak Kaserne in Kagrant 5 light-37-pan AA guns with 5 trucks 25X1 4 light AA guns of a new type 6 trucks 3 very large van-like trailers 1 canvas-covered trailer At 1330, drilling with the 4 light AA guns of a new type was started, under the commend of a sergeant who repeatedly looked into a book presumably containing instructions or regulations on the weapon regulations. The barrel of the gun was elevated up to an angle of 90 degrees. When in firing position, a flexible side support was extended both on the right and left side of the gun, while the wheels of the chassis still remained on the ground. 2. A total of 13 fuel containers, including 1 in the open and 12 under lean-to roofs, were seen in the fuel dump, in addition to 18 x 200-liter barrels and 14 larger barrels. 30 Three 37-am AA guns were emplaced in the southern section of the fuel dump. One of thwm tram iiAAd for drilling practices during which it jr towed out of the emplacement. -.- -e iL- ----t_- _a- f o at the fuel dump presumably served as on dump since atnition crates were 25X1 stored there. 4. Between 0800 and 1500 on 15 April, a sentry wearing red-bordered black epaulets was posted at the radar station west of St Poelten along the road to Witzendorf. Two trucks and a field kitchen were parked near the Dumbo-type set and the Kniferest-type set. No other perspenel or vehicles were seen there. Comment. For sketch of new artillery piece, see Annex.
