A new airfield is under construction some two kilmeters northwest of
Stalin (Brasov) in the direction of the village of ahimbav. The field
and its-installations are-located north'of the`Stalin-Pagaras,railxq
line. The construction is not as advanced as that of the Cristian
airfield.
Comment: The work on the above field is very likely to be an
provemen undertaken on a?country airfield known in 1912-1915 under
the name Ghimbav or Stupini.
