The high..ay, which had very few rades, followed the course of valleys. It had a surfaced strip about 4 motors ^w:}..c.e and dirt strips on its two sides. The surfaced stria was used by 5-tor: '.rucks. During the winter months, snow drifts frequently made the highway :I.;i_p seable and traffic on it was interrupted up tit six weeks. Motor snot. Plows were available for snow clearing purposes. The highway had many small bridges from 5 to 20 meters long; the load capacity of many of these bridges was reinforced by additonal planking. A vpead limit was in force for all of these bridges. After the summer of 1951, r!.+ry of the bridge, were reconditioned. It was also learned that the hi ;}.w y eras to be improved.
