Its assigneient is to bring the Soviet forces to operatimall readinsess.
The heads of this Council areiMarsbalt Shmkov,0 Sokolovskiy, and 25X1
Moskalenko. The for r Soviet Milit wy Attache in Prague, Ge m
Nikolay I. Gusev, is Secretary General of the Council.
First Deputy Prise Minister Mikhail G. Piervukkia has been put in charge
of nuclear develapsent under the eovr-r of supervising the electric
pr industry. The new Technical CO t1 is subordinate to bft 1n
matters relating to nuclear weapons. IR is considered to be an able
technician.
3. A Technical Council modelled on the SOrrLet pattern is being set my in
Czechosltrvakiij and similar councils viii probably be established in
the other satellite countries.
