Between 27 and 29 April 1955, large quantities of coal were delivered to a Soviet requisitioned hotel in Baden, A Soviet official in Baden is reported tohave stated that Soviet dependents will remain at least until the start of the summer school vacations in order to insure educational continuity for some 200 Soviet children attending school in Baden, 2, On or about 25 April 1955, a Soviet engineer battalion was moved from Klosterneuburg to the Soviet staging area at Goepfrite. Before their departure .from, Klosterneuburg, the soldiers let it be known that they were to be in gherge of packing, crating and transp tation for all Soviet troops scheduled for leave Austria.
