Connections between the Deutsches Amt fuer M,a< al and Warenpruefung
(German Office for the Testing of Materials and goods) (DAMW) in
East Berlin anc? the Hungarian company for testing of imports and exports
"MERT" have become closer. The "INERT" has some 350 employees and only a
few laboratories, but has permission to use all testing installations
in Hungary. First director of the "MERT" was one Oplat (fnu) and chief
of the Main Department Heavy Industry was Ing.Egervary (fnu). Ing.
