1. The VNIIM (All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Metrology imeni
D.I. Mendeleyeva) is located at 19 prospekt imeni Stalin, Leningrad.
2. An unusual container was recently delivered by truck to one. of this
institute's secret laboratories. It was made of lead and measured
50 by 50 cm, the walls being nearly 25 cm. thick. The container was
accompained by special.guards.
3. Only the head of the laboratory and the head. of the. institute's special
branch were present at the ppening of the container.' The keys for the
container were held by the head of the special,branch. The men who
opened the container wore special clothing.

been placed., This ampoule was.taken,to a laboratory which only a few
expensive an secret preparation.
