SOURCE EVALUATIONS ARE DEFINITIVE. 'APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE.
1. During April 1955 14,186 tons of crude oil were shipped from Lobau, Austria,
to the Hungarian refinery at Szgny.
2. After refining, this oil is shipped by Danube barges to Reni, USSR. The
barges which return to Hungary carry oil from Bulgaria, which is refined in
Hungary, and used for consumption inside Hungary. Since 1st January, 1955,
50,000 tons of Bulgarian crude oil have been thus imported into Hungary.
