1. On 27 March Iliya Kyull-ovski,, Director of the. Bulgarian News Agency, was
summoned to the office of Party secretary Todor Zhivkov;where he was.repri-
manded and dismissed for,permitting the publication of an interview by
Seymour Frieden, European correspondent. of the New York Post.,, with the
recently released Agrarian leaders., S4rbinski and Pavlovl,
2a Etropolski (fnu)y an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accompanied
Frieden.and-took notes during the intervview, which pertained to the imprison-
ment and current. views of thee .two men. After the interview, Etropolaki was.
summoned by Zapir, head of the press division.. of the Ministry.of. Foreign
Affairs., who instructed him to deliver the notes to.K,yul'ovski. The day after
the publication of the article a correction was printed stating that the
Frieden interview hadbeen.written by Etropoiski.
3.. Elena, Gavr'ilovay, who was. formerly employed. in. Chervenkov is office, has
replaced Kyuliovski.4.
