Comment. The shipaent is presumably identical with a train which - -- - - _ _ _ tL.. DDT /'~~..e~-0 fvool e~ was probes y confused with Voldehagen south of Stralsund. .~~ Comment. This train was confirmed. Comment. Tk#is is presus~ably a shipaent of the 68th Gds Tank Regt of the th Gds Mecg Div. 4? Comment. According to a previous report, the following shipment left the installation on Schumke See (3441) toward Jueterbog at 2030 oh d black d b ere or 20 May: 6 boxcars carrying some 300 soldiers wearing black- epaulets, 26 trucks including 3 trucks with panes and 15 trucks carrying prepared bridge building timber.. Each truc~'~~~ a different load. The places mentioned in the present report as recl~ving stations of the distributed shipment are poste of engineer units. The kaserne on Schumke See is believed to be occupied by the 35th Engr Regt of the Third Gds l~2ecz Army and thet~tt~tt with epeeial amphibious .vehicles, the subordinatdon of which is undetermined. The distribution of engineer units and trucks with prepared equipment among four different army areas tends to indicate that this was a measure by GSFG, rather than the Third Gds Mecz Army. Comment. This is assumed to have been a shipment of an air force construction unit which went to the Querfurt airfield. 25X1 1~X"I SECRET Approved For Release 2007/12/05: CIA-RDP80-00810A007300430004-3
