THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. In mid-April 1955, it was learned
that the
ministry was to return to the so-called "government building" on Leipziger-
ftrasse from the building on Behrenstrasse in East Berlin prior to
15 April 1955. The building on Behrenstrasse was to be occupied by the
Ministry of Trade and Supply which was to be enlarged and therefore headed
more room. The transfer was made for centralization of offices.

2. On 1 April, some 100 persons including seiteral high SED functionaries
were reportedly dismissed by the Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry.
Young personnel, who belonged to the SED, were reported to have
spontaneously registered with the KVP.
