Between 18 nd 25 Februar- no air unit was located at Rangsdorf 25X1 airfield. The tour Eueeker airs past roused a repair shop for .aircraft engines ere also airs s parently assepbled. Six additional boxcars with 25X1 unidentified }Dads were shunted the repair haiw a On 25 F!b=yat9-, two aircraft, p~rlr bby-Yak='lle$ were tow?& o f?the 25X1 hangar. Six soldiers were seen near the individual aircraft and 'P man was in the aircraft. No .ir activity was conducted. On 2 L3arch, two aircraft of an unidentified type were parked at the field. They were 25X1 partially disassembled. There was no air activity. 2. On 14 May, Rangsdorf airfield was occupied by Soviets ^:earinq; red-bordered black and black-bordered blue epaulets. No aircraft were parked on the 25X1 field. The doors of the hangars were closed. 3. At about 1900 on 11, - 6# s r-n? p#opeller aircraft were seen 25X1 between the hangar end the repair shop on the field. The aircraft apparently were low-wig manoplanee with tail wheel, regular tail unit comparatively long cabin and preeumad in-line engine. The engines of 4 aircraft wore qed with tarp line and the engines of the other 2 aircraft were dismantled. No air activity was observed. The chief of the Zossen office of the Athletic and Technical Association (GST) stated that Rabgsdorf airfield would be used by the GS! in the future. Corsmeat. The reported observations agree with previous information 25X1 according to which a repair shop for airframes and engines of conventional aircraft and a disassembly shop are located at Rangsdorf airfield. L1..2 aircraft of a transport and courier squadron of the GSFG are presumably stationed at the field.
