1. In early May 1955, it was officially learned at the DHZ Kohle
(German Trade Central Coal) in East Berlin that difficulties
in the coal supply had been overcome. Although coal production
increased only slightly, it was planned to store coal for the
winter of 1955/56 beginning in June.
