1. In spring 19.1, construction work was begrlin on the Stalin Higbway (Stalinskoye
shosse) for the iiu pose of canneating Brest and xosm with a first-class
highway via Minsk (see slateh for loeatt of the new kiglumy). Starting 25X1

2. Construction work was resumed in 1952, and by summer 1953 the highway had
been conpleted up to Fan pot a village about ten kilometers northeast of
D'zershin,ek (N 53-41, B 2't-07). The high ay bad a concrete base said was
surfaced with asphalt. It was seven meters wide,with a 2.5 utter soft,
shoulder an either side, transportation was restricted to motor veb,i.cles,

temporary wooden bridge was over the Shobara River between Zagozhe (.: 53-13,
E 26-05) and Skarchrre (N 53-11, B 26-06) and the other was over, the itiemen.
