During April and May, the personnel at the plant was increased from 25X1 about 550 to from 650 to 700-men-3. Motor vehicles which were shipped out in May included 175 trucks, including 42 tank trucks, 35 jeeps, 8 repair shop trucks, and 5 ambulances. 25X1 4. The production quota for June was fixed at 175 trucks, including 40 tank trucks, and 40 Jeeps. 5. There is a shortage of sheet metal,* I =Q%#W"k'ets of all kinds. Two large shipments of 4W gaskets have to be out were delivered. Obersoheeaeweide Plant. 6. The 90 Soviet students which previoully were 5016 `a8 st thi plant were allegedly sent back to the USSR in mid May. They were replaced by 90 soldiers who wore red-bordered black epaulets and motor transport insignia and have little technical knowledge. These soldiers are also quartered at the plant and in addition to their work in the plant have intensive military training which consists mainly of firing at the firing range, drilling and combat practices. It was believed among the German workers that these soldiers were-to serve as security detail at the plant in addition to receiving technical training. 7. Some personnel were dismissed and replaced by the same number of personnel. Sine-mid. yLieutenant Colonel (Eng) Solimov (feu) has been assigned to the plant.
