The following is an outline of the structure of the East German Ministry for
Agriculture and Forestry and tte names of the some of the officials of that
Ministry. The Agriculture Ministry has been in a constant state of reorgani-
zation aims 1 January 1955 and the transition was not complete as of
6 June 1955. The alleged purpose of the reorganization was to reduce the
staff as much as possible and install trustworthy SED members in all kq
positioraa. The outline below represents the Ministry's structure as of Jura 1955.
