Lieberose Training Grounds, On 13 July, the camps at Lieberose and
choenhoehe were vacant; there were four to six-day firing practices
by tank and artillery units from Fuerstenwalde, FrankfurtOdor and
Cottbus. The units were presumably in bivouac,

carried loads exceeding standard measurements,
1, Generals There was increased training and firing with live ammunition at
the train*ng grounds. At the posts, recruits were tm ined predominantly
at the squad and platoon level, while older personnel were trained at
company level,
2. Trains Grounds East of KlietZs Probably the bulk of the Potsdam re-
connaissance battalion was transferred on 11 July. Troops believed to
be elements of the Gloewen howitzer artillery regiment were observed on
14 July, On 15 July, many tanks arrived by rail.
3. Miscellaneouss Transferred elements of the Flak Schule Oranienburg have
apparently been back from firing practices near Wustrow since 15 July,
In the evening of 15 July, a troop train with four 85-mm and eight 37-mm
guns, possibly carrying elements of the Strausberg AAk regiment, was
sidetracked at the Oranienburg freight station. Since 20 June, a small
KVP unit has been stationed in the former Ulanen Kaserne in Demmin. The
GST has been reorganized, with Gruppen Abteilungen and Hundertschaften
taking the place of previous units.
