The following observations were made at the Dallgow-Doeberitz railroad station on 22 and 23 June: 22 June, At 2100, 12 x 152-mm field howitzers, 8 x 76-mm field guns, about 40 trucks including some with equipment, 2 repair shop trucks, 4 field kitchens and 24 boxoarloadl of soldiers from Olympisches Dorf (2067) in Doeberitz were entrained and left toward the west, allegedly for the Luckenwalde area. At 2200, approximately 35 trucks were entrained. A few soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets with tank insignia were seen with the trucks. 23 June. At 1115, a shipneht of 8 light AA guns, presumably 37-mm guns, approximately 20 trucks, 1 field kitchen and, on 3 boxcars, personnel, which had been loaded there, left toward the west. 6. On 20 June, the loading of elements of the brigade from Olympisches Dorf was preceded by an inspection by 4 senior officers of some 600 soldiers and 12 x 152-mm field howitzers. The units marched in review. 2 7. Between 17 and 23 June, increased training was observed at the Doeberitz training grounds. It was learned that 25 to 30 tanks from Loewen Kaserne (2063) in Doeberitz daily left for the training area. Tanks and six- wheel armored personnel carriers mounting guns were predominantly involved in the exercises. The tanks usually advanced in groups of 5 to 8, deployed to the right and left on a special command and fired at full speed at mobile dummy tanks. The tanks were followed by armored personnel carriers with soldiers, who subsequently left the personnel carriers and advanced under armored protection. At other places of the training area, infantry mock attacks were conducted under the protection of heavy machine guns in elevated emplacements. The exercises were conducted under unusually hard conditions. It was repeatedly observed that officers kicked crawling soldiers, apparently because of poor performance. 3 he 205th Bhgr Bn can be oonfirmed is Gentzrode until 15 June 1955 by observations.
