The shipments probably consisted of T-54 tanks. The shipment flatoars. The receiving station mentioned indicates that the shipment was consigned. to the 220th Hv Tank SP Regt of the Eighth Gds Army stationed there. Provided that T-54 tanks were actually shipped which was inferred fro* the fact that the load ezoeeded standard measurements, this would be the first case that a rifle army was supplied with new type tanks. The shipment on 30 June was consigned to the 9th Gds Tank Div, The shipment on 1 July was consigned to the 9th Tank Div. 25X1 on 27 June is possibly identical with a shipment reported previously with 2"25X1 1954? Comment. Probably ponton parts and/or floating cranes from the Neptun s pyArd to then.
