2. Con. truction workers from Peeneruende airfield 'lere alle';edly transferred
to Garz for construction on the airfield. At 1800 on 3 June, two trucks
each tc?.ing -L field kitchen left the airfield and -proceeded toy.-,ard
Karlshagen. 2
3. On and 1 r'ay, a sizeable number of jet aircraft ?,vas observed on both
S4 des of the nun- ays and in the eastern section of the landing field

4,. A tent camp :,,as observed along the southern edge of the lending field.
On 13 :,:ay, about 30 tank trucks were being filled ,with fuel from a Soviet
tanker in Peenemuende harbor. Subsequently, the tank tracks proceeded toward
the airfield. 3
Comment. Peenemuende airfield is still believed to be occupied by
two naval fi-h.ter regiments. A total of about 48 jet fighters were
observed on the 1-;nding field.
Comment. Improvement work on Graz airfield was reported Dreviously.
Comment. The statement that the 2 fi,-;iiter regiments are equipped
wi about 3( tank trucks agrees with available information.
