Information
1. The woods in the lBeenz-Kroechlendorff-iiiohmannsdorf-Kuhn area,
some 12 km southwest of Prenslau, were to be out, a1leaedly because
a training area was to be prepared there. A spur track to this
area was under construction.
2. Shipments observed at the Prenzlau freight station included:
18 June. At 2200, loading of 4 T-34/05 tanks and approximately 5
trucks with soldiers.
23 Jun.. At 0530, unloading of 2 T-34/85 tanks, 1 T-34 chassis,
2 trucks with equipment, 1 repair shop truck and some 80 soldiers
wearing red-bordered black epaulets. 2

the woods south of the Kroeohlendorff cantonment. 1

3. On 26 June. it was determined that the cantonment just south of
Kroechlendorff consisted of 8 large buildi::ijs, which were occupied.
Foundations for temporary buildings were being prepared along the
west side of the Eroechlendorff-Beene road. Barracks sections were
stored nearby. Six-37 nm AA guns were emplaced on this road.
4. Between 1600 and 2000 on JA Junet an exercise was conducted at
the Templin training grounds. LiiG-15s and light AA guns participated.
Between 18 and 25 June, medium artillery and rocket launchers
conducted several firings with live ?munition. The guns fired
individually and at battery level. 3
5. At 1550 on 29 June, 12 six-wheel armored personnel carriers,
2 x 57-mm AT guns, 7 trucks, 1 ambulance, 2 field kitchens and
some 150 soldiers were detrained at the Berlin-Sohoeneweide railroad
station and left toward Karlshoret. 4
