(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO RFPORT NO_ THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION The '24:alet Karbantarto Vallalat (E V) maintenance service located on 16 Gusev-utca (formerly Sas-utca) in Budapest is a government enterprise directly subordinated to the Rear Services of the 11onv4d ainistry. The service was established in 1951 by the heaved Iinistry and charged with the carrying;-out of new construction projects and the maintenance of military objects. The maintenance service fors part of the main construction department of the Rear Services of the Honved Ministry and has its offices on Go. ol--utca and 25 Ulloi-utca in Budapest V. The management consisted of 1 manager, 1 technical manager who at the same time functioned as deputy manager, 1 personnel manager, 3 stenotypists, and one driver. Th,e p_.annin, department consisted of a department chief, 1 deputy department chief, 2 stenotypists, 4 female workers, and 16 draftsmen charged with constructional designa for building projects. The working hours at the offices were from 0800 to 1700 in summer, and from 0830 to 1700 in winter time. Every second Saturday was free. Outdoor working hours were from 0700 to 1700 in summer and from 0730 to 1700 in winter time. Every second. Saturday was free. 17. Outdoor workers received an annual allocation of 1 suit of professional clothes and 1 pair of boots. Drivers were provided with 1 dress uniform, 1 fur coat, 1 cap, 1 pair of gloves, 1 pair of overalls. Special workers ,,,ere provided with protective clothing. During the winter months, the outdoor workers received additional food. Each worker was entitled to 12 daysY vacation during the first year in the service, one day of vacation being added for every subsequent year in the service.
