Brest Litovsk Ziltendorf 1 a shipment) consisting of 25 boxcars was dispatched from Kapen to Brest Litovsk on 15 July 1955. 4 the following shipments were dispatched 18 July. 2 converted boxcars (?) boxcar 14 crash cars from Brest- Litovsk to Ries 4 One empty train consisting of 2 third-class passenger cars, 13 converted boxcars, 2 kitchen cars, 9 boxcars and 28 flatcars was dispatched to Brest-Litovsk on 20 July 1955. Trains of the same composition were scheduled to be formed on 21 and 23 July. 6 During the period between 15 and 23 July, about one empty train, consisting of 50 tank cars, was daily dispatched to Brest-Litovsk. Loaded tank cars coming from Brest-Litovsk were consigned to Ruhland and Merseburg. 7 C mment. Incoming shipments of raw materials consigned fined to Eisenhuetten- -Kombinat Ost (iron Foundry Combine East) (EXO) at Faerstenberg/Oiler, which is served by Ziltendorf as railroad station. Comment. Continued shipments of tanks (T-54s) from the USSR. ,shipments appear to be as follows: Shipment on 12 July. This shipment is probably identical with a shipment of tanks consigned to Ze ithain Shipment on 15 July. It cannot be definitely determine4 if this shipment is reported for the first time or if it is identical consign to Oschatz Shipment on 19 July. This shipment have been reported previously 4. Comment. Deliveries by East German hydrogenation plants to the USSR. Comment. The shipment on 15 July carried ammunition and/or empty ammunition boxes and was dispatched from the Soviet ammunition depot at Kapen to the USSR. The shipment on 18 July consisted of ammunition from the USSR consigned to the ammunition depot at Roederau of the 1st Gds Mecz Army which is located in the Riesa area. 25X1 3. Possibly outgoing motor vehicle shipments to the USSR wit in the framework of the motor vehicle replacement program. Comment. These empty trains are probably used for the transportation of air force ground and supply units to East Germany. These s}i.pments were reported for the first time in July 1955. 25X1 Comment. These empty trains are used for incoming crude oil 25X1 shipments from the USSR consigned to GDR hydrogenation plants.
