1. At 1830 on 8 lu.uat 1955. 20 to 25 rocket launchers without
numbers, 20 trucks,and 1 field kitchen
2. At 2305 on 8 August, 12 R:-13 rocket launchers, 28 trucks including
approximately 180 soldiers wearing red-bordered
black epaulets with artillery insignia were entrained at the
DallCow-Doeberitz railroad station and left for Luckenwalde
3. At 0021 on 13 August. a troop train of 14 converted boxcars and
35 flatcars arrived at the Dallgow railroad station from Forst
Zinna. A Dallgow railroadman stated that the rocket launchers
had returned during this night.1
At about 1335 on 8 Au.rust. 8 x 37-mm and 6 x85-mm AA guns, 16
trucks, 4 armored personnel carriers:and 9 boxcarloads of troops
were unloaded at the Neuruppin railroad station. Subsequently,
the vehicles were seen in the town on route towardr'riedrich-
Franz Kaserne (2201). In'the evening, the quarters of the AAA
unit in the installation were 95 percent lighted. 2
Comment. elements of the 41st RL Bn of the let Uecz Div.
from Doeberitz were transferred to the Jueterbog training grounds
for firing practices. . The different
number of rocket launchers reported by the two sources is presumably
due to the fact that one source confused trucks with rocket
launchers, since the total number of vehicles entrained roughly
checks with both shipments.
