Information
Preparations recently began for the mining of uranium in the following
newly discovered ore depositaa
1. In Orlicke Gory on the Bohemian-Moravian border., i.e. in the northeast
part of Suchy Yrch, in the vicinity of Cerna Hors, (trig. point 99b),
mining equipment is being installed. Houses for workers also are
under construction. The bill Cerna Hora is out of bounds to
tourists, and the lane running from the .in Jablonne nid Orlici
(N 50-02, 8 16-36) - Cervena Voda (N 50-02, B 16-45) road to the
former Kramer But is now blocked.
2. Other uranium deposits were discovered in southern Bohemia in the
woods about three kilometers northeast of the town of Pinsk (N 149018,
Z 1b-09). One of these deposits is in the vicinity of Zadueni Lee,
where preparations for mining have already begun., and the other one is
in the vicinity of the area known as "Y Zivci*, where no preparations
have been made so far,
