Thereupon, a truck with an officer and EM went from the depot to the railroad station where the officer opened the shipping papers. When the goods were consigned to the depot, the papers were taken along. If they were not consigned to the depot, the papers were closed, returned to the railroad official, and the officer drove back to the depot. After about 1 hour, another officer with EM arrived from the depot for picking up the goods. The officers observed always were the same, namely a senior lieutenant and a lieutenant one of whom wore blue and the other red-bordered black epaulets. /r. A new firing range was in operation in the Hennickendorfer Kalkberge north of Hennickendorf, 7 km south of Strausberg. This range was used for zeroing- in practices by AA guns from the supply depot and, according to sounds heard, by small-caliber guns, presumably aircraft weapons which were towed by trucks to the site. The range had 3 firing lanes 2 of which were used by the Soviets and 1 by the KVP, 25X1 5. Trucks observed in the depot F1 were occupied by soldiers. f:.
