The Ruegen Radio Station (Frinkamt Ruegen-Radio) in Glove handles the international marine radio traffic for last Germany. Moreover~it has contact by teletype with the Fishing Combine (Fischerelkombinat) Rostock, and by direct telephone lines with the Combine, the long 25X1 distance telephone station in Rostock, and the auxiliary exchange of the Sassnits Radio Station. 2. The following receivers are located in Glove: AQST, AST, and EST, which are similar to the former World War- II German Army receivers of the type Ing. Ullrioh (sic), and also a frequency calibrated receiver for long and short wave which was manufactured by TEl Funkwerk Dabendorf. The radio monitoring section of the station, located in Hesehenbusoh, is equipped with one AQST and one AST receiver. 3. In Lohme are the following: one Lorene transmitter 1 x 1, 5 kw, 500 kos; two transmitters 10 kw, 432 and 1720 kos; one short wave transmitter 1 x 200 watts; one former German Army transmitter 3 x 800 watts with 2182 and 1720 kos wavelengths and also 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, and 22 mom short 25X1 wave bands. The Lehme police has its own transmitter station. 4. The freighters ROSTOCK and WISMAR have two 800 watt transmitters each; the motorship STRALSUID has one 100 watt transmitter; the fishing luggers have 80 and 100 watt equipment; and the cutters, 30 watt.
