The follcring units of the Rumanian Army are stationed at Turnu Severin:
a. A regiment of the Frontier Guard which occupies barracks located on
Boulevard Stalin, formerly Boulevard Traian.
be An artillery or armored unit, indicated by black epaulets, which is
settled in barracks also located on Boulevard Stalin, east of the
barracks occupied by the Frontier Guard. No tanks or cannons were
observed. The soldiers of this unit exercise on the airfield of
Turnu Severin, which is no longer in use.
