OF PAGES 2 REFERENCES This is UNEVALUATED Information 1. Output of VEB Schwermaschinenbau Ernst Thaelmann, Thaelmann--'clerk-Strasse 7-15, Magdeburg, during October 1955: a. Cranes. About 13,000 torus of structural' steel was received for the quarter. The following were built: (1) (3) 80 winches, carrying capacity 200-250 kg. 6 moveable cranes, carrying capacity 1,500 kg. 2 ceiling crab cranes (Deckenlaufkraene), carrying capacity 3,000 kg. (1) 300 ordinary ploughs. (2) 460 harrows. c. Repairs. The material received for the quarter was about 6,000 tons of structural steel. Repairs were made to: (1) 100 ploughs. (2) 1,000 harrows. d. Repairs to Tanks. Fourteen T34 tanks arrived-for repairsg .of these nine One tank was sent to be broken up at the Soltkel steelworks, came from Schwerin and four belonged to the tank brigade in Dessau. e. Special Order. A dredging crane for removing large amounts of soil has been commissioned for Hungary.
