50X1Zumbers "Organization and Func-
tions, Inspector General", are necessitated by the trans-
fer of the functions of the Legislative Counsel from the
Office of the Inspector General to the Office of the Geaeral
Counsel. No coordination has been effected inasmuch as
the transfer has already been announced in Agency Notice
50X1 dated o September 1957.

In view of the transfer of the functions and
responsibilities of the Legislative Counsel from this staff.
it is requested that Regulation
dated 13 July 1957, be revised to delete paragraph 5. d. and
2. d. respectively. As indicated in your memorandum dated
13 September regarding this subject, it will not be necessary
to coordinate the revised regulations.
