(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORI k J 1. The R o T O factory of Tallinn ufacturers of electrical equipment and parts, was taken o the Germans in 19.1,. It became a Telefunken organization that year, emp about two hundred people. The R. E. T.. plants taken over by Telefunken, ha built in 1938 and was a four story factory. Under the tenure of Telefunken, parts for aircraft radio receivers, were the only products manufactured. The original German plan for establishing a Telefunken branch in Tallinn was part of a long range program based on the assumption of victory over the USSR. Telefunken was to be a major parts supplier for all. eastern territory captured by Germany 50X1-HUM with a major branch conveniently located at Tallinn, 20 With the return of the Soviets in late 1941, the plant was reorganized again as R. E. T., its present name. Very little equipment was destroyed by the Germans or stripped by the Soviets as it had only been partially equipped under Telefunken?s brief activity. It produced a limited amount of in 1912 to 19 J.0 50X1-HUM 30 Hansa Electric Motor took over Volta Works during the German occupation of Tallinn in 1941. This plant was located near the Krull Engine Plant, and adjoined the latter on its northeast side. (Location H07.7 - V1l+.2.) Hansa was the only electric motor manufacturer in Estonia, and,in 1914,employed about one50X1-HUM thousand people.
