A third bridge was being planned across the Danube River north of the other two. 25X1 Near the approach to the new bridge on the northwest bank of the river, a concen- tration of factories for, heavy industry was being planned. 3. The hill near tlae Petrovaradin Dunav station has been converted into an ammunition depot. The hill is full of caves about two to four meters high. Into them walls have been built to shore up the sides. The hill is about 700 to 800 meters high. Good roads have been constructed to lead to the top and the caves lead off the roads into the hill. Most of the work of construction was performed by forced labor, but the actual delivery and storage of the ammunition is performed by soldiors. The combined capacity of all the caves would be about 1500 peopleo~ All kinds of war materiel, e.g. ammunition, guns, gasoline, etc., has been stored 4. At the foot of the hill, just south of the Railroad Bridge, is an anchorage for river boats.
