Wismut AG operates in an area in Saxony which includes the cities of Johann- georgenstadt, Aus, Schwarzenburg, Frieberg, Freital, Schneeberg, Annaberg and Bernstein. Double track railroad lines are being constructed throughout this area. - 2. According to a worker who had worked for Wismut AG for two-and-one-half years and who attended the mining school run by the company, the greate0 uranium content of the ore is a3 per cent. 3s All ore is shipped to Annaberg to be dressed,and packed in sacks. The sacks are packed in crates, each crate measuring 70 x 50 x 40 cm and weighing 75 to 85 kg, and are shipped to the USSR under heavy guard. 4. The normal yield per shaft is approximately 25 to 30 crates-per eight-hour shift.
