concerning the activities of the political
police in the sound proof cellar of 60 Andrassy Ut, their methods of interrogation
follow a definite pattern.
16. "Ahen a suspect is first brought in for questioning, he is met by a Colonel of
Political Police. Without further ado, the suspect is punched in the face, hit on
the head with the butt of a heavy service pistol, and then kicked in the pit of
the stomach. With this sudden introduction to 60 Andrassy Ut, the prisoner is
then dragged bleeding down into the cellar. There he is stripped naked and placed
on two hairs. For at least ten agonizing minutes, the victim's feet are unmercifully
beaten with heavy galvanized rubber hoses. It is after this preliminary torture that
the suspect is first questioned. He is now asked for the first time whether or not he
is guilty of the crime as charged. If the unfortunate 'victim does not admit guilt,
he is then flung to the hard floor. A chair is placed on his chest. The interrogat-
ing officer then sits on the chair and begins striking the prisoner in the head with
a heavy instrument. If he still refuses to admit his guilt, a tin, electric-wired
head gear is placed on his battered head and the current is released. After one of
these introductory questionings at 60 Andrassy Ut, the suspect is about 80% broken
not only in mind, but in body as well.
17. "If after one of these beatings, a suspect's will to resist still remains strong
other tortures are employed. He is forced to stare for hours into a very bright
light or placed in a tiny cell where he can only squat as ice-cold water steadily
drips on his exposed head. Mhile this barbaric torture goes on, a radio blares /
constantly driving the victim to the very brink of insanity.
18. "One of these bloody interrogators was a Colonel Mihaly Bano. He was a cruel sadist
who constantly laughed gleefully while torturing hundreds of political prisoners.
Many innocent men and women were tortured to death at his hands. Many who were
lucky to come out of 60 Andrassy Ut alive will earn the marks of his beatings to
their graves.
19. "Colonel Bano loved the odor of burning flesh. He was particularly addicted to the
use of the so-called 'Schaller' method. He would place a white hot rubber patch
on his victim's body or the heater and burn the flesh right down to the bone. He
would roar with sadistic glee as the miserable prisoner screamed in agony. He
would also take a batch of cotton and dip it into benzine or petroleum. Placing
the soaked mass on his victim's naked body, he would happily ignite it. AS his
suspect burned to death before his eyes, he would grin and laugh hysterically.
20. "These medieval tortures went on for about ten hours. 'Whenever the victim fainted
he was revived with injections and -salt poured into his mouth. Then the tortures
would begin all over again.
21. "On. one occasion, Colonel Bano brought in the daughter of a suspect and before the
man's eyes, had the 19 year old girl stripped naked and the usual tortures applied
until the father broke down and confessed to a crime he never committed.
22. "The Colonel had two female assistants, namely, Julia Takaro and Violet Rosenberg.
These female ghouls specialized in interrogating male prisoners. They would select
the men they particularly desired to torture and invariably Colonel Bano approve.
They operated as a team. Tying up their victims securely, they would enjoy
unspeakable orgies of sadism. Thy pierced their victim's organs with pins, beat them
with heavy, blunt instruments, anci inserted little needles under the fingernails.
One of their favorite tortures was to place a lighted candle under their prisoner's
bare feet and simultaneously beat him over the head with a gun butt.

23. "Colonel Bano once had a prisoner sealed into an air-tight
brick compartment where the unfortunate man suffocated to death much to the glee of
the sadist. 50X1 -HUM

25. "After the tortures, if the victim survives, he is prepared for his mock trial. This
is the phase Of the interrogation where the doctors assigned to duty at 60 Andrassy
Ut are employed. All marks of violence are removed from the prisoner's body. He
is then injected with the mysterious serum which removes the very last vestige of
sanity or will to oppose. When the prisoner takes the witness stand, he is no longer
a man. He is a zombie catering to the will of the prosecutor. They all 'confess'
as commanded to crimes they have never committed.
26. "These are the tactics employed by the Communists to completely crush the will to
resist of a whole nation. This is the universal practice of the men who rule from
the Kremlin. These are the tactics they will constantly use to achieve world .
domination. It is an important phase of their master plan to subjugate the entire
world.

"America has been good It is a wonderful
country offering freedom to everyone and a haven to the oppressed. Here there are
no houses of terror. Here there is no 60 Andrassy Ut. Here there is no reign of
terror enforcing an unwanted regime. But, it can happen here! America must maintain
a constant vigilance aainst those who are planning to destroy her way of life. She
must be on guard aainst those who would enslave her peoples within a terroristic
state. She must ever remain on the alert so that w:lat has happened
will not happen hero. She must guarantee her freedom loving citizens that they
never will be ruled through 'houses of terror' or their wills destroyed by barbaric
torture and medicinal injections. America must be made strong to prevent a fate
