THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
his statement, had gained control of the Rfo Haina iron mine. Goodly tonnages
of this ore were shipped to the US during the first half of 1954, according
to my principal.
2. as informed that there will be 15/20 thousand tone for sale per
month available in three grades which they, the producers, want to shin separa-
tely stowed as follows: open hearth (2" to 9"); blast furnace (u" to 2") and
tailings. An out-turn analysis of this-ore shipped to a large US.steel
producer is as follows:
Metallic iron 68.22% Phosphorus 0.06 Copper trace
Silica 1.08 Sulphur 0.01 Moisture 1.20
3. This is very good open hearth ore, comparing favorably with Chilean open
hearth ore, and being particularly desirable because of its low silica and
phosphorus content, The Chilean ore currently available analyzes as follows:
