ADDRESS Q7Ic 4At. cc IM PW or Release 2001/08 'b7E SECRETARY F A' E DEPARTMENT OF STATE SEP 12 1962 SECRET This document consi. is of ----------- pag8s. Number --- L_ of copies, Series 1-L___ MEMORANWM FOR: General McClelland, Director of Communications Central Intelligence Agency, Washington SUBJECT: DCSA Program FY 1963 REFERENCE: OC-0930, August 3, 1962 I have deferred responding to your referenced memorandum until somewhat more firm agreement was reached regarding the proposed dis- position of the 1963 special allocation of funds and a determination made with respect to the Frankfurt/Bonn move. I believe these points have now been satisfactorily resolved. The proposed disposition of the 60 KW-26's appears completely satisfactory subject to the minor adjustments which have been mutually agreed upon in the interim. It is in conformity with the program set forth in the material for the Bureau of the Budget. With respect to the move from Frankfurt to Bonn, I apparently inferred from your memorandum, less Agency interest in the move than actually exists. While there naturally will be attendant administra- tive problems to be resolved, we are in agreement in principle with the move and have been assured of adequate space and housing at Bonn to accommodate this operation. I suggest that you plan and proceed accordingly. lenry 1.
