CTED ADD'i6 EDIRECTOR ` ?'r"Releas 99/0912tgi,$0065A 1A0400040006-4 , TH OF as PSYCHOLOGICAL STRATEGY BOARD WASHINGTON 25, D. C. PSYCHOLOGICAL STRATEGY BOARD WASHINGTON NOV 17 1952 TMIEIEMMORANDUM TO: Central Intelligence Agency -00" M r. Joseph B. Phillips, Department of State Mr. William H. Godel, Department of Defense Mr. Thomas Wilson, Mutual Security Agency FROM: aafi~~~ Secretary to the Board SUBJECT: Forthcoming PSB Report to the President and the NS This is to suggest that action be initiated in your department or agency in anticipation of the next Report of the Psychological Strategy Board to the President and the National Security Council. We have been informed by the staff of the NSC that the President has requested a re- port from the Board covering the period ending December 31, 1952. The report should be submitted by the Board by the first of February 1953. This timetable will require receipt of the department's and agency's con- tributions by about January 6, 1953. Although we are still in the process of working out the final form of PSB reporting as requested by the Board at its October 30th meeting, it is thought that this advance notice would be appreciated since it is probably possible to get started on collecting materials, etc. without prejudging the outcome of our study of wholeTr'"eporting problem.
