Campbell and Keller our work at the Central Intelligence Agency was briefly reviewed, particularly the matter of access to information and records. With respect to the activities of the Deputy Director for Support, our preliminary survey indicates that we will not be able to make a satisfactory review for the purpose of reaching any conclusions on execution of these activities. In the area of the Deputy Director for Intelligence, we are undertaking preliminary surveys of these activities and we should have some indica- tions on what we can do within the next 30 to 60 days. In the area of Deputy Director for Plans, we are precluded from making any reviews at all. Mr. Campbell concurred that at such time that we reach a conclusion that,we cannot make a satisfactory audit we will discontinue the audit and write a letter to Director Dulles informing tam of this action and we will also Inform the Chairman of the SubcomMittee on Central Intelli- gence,C ittee on Armed Services, House of Representatives, on this action.
