UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SALARY TABLES
To the Heads of Departments and Independent Establishments:
U. S. General Accounting Office Salary Table No. 39 will presently
be issued for use by those officers and employees of the United States
Government concerned in the preparation, certification, and payment of
civilian payrolls and pay vouchers covering General Schedule per annum
employees.
The table will show the new salary rates as contained in the
Federal Employees Salary Increase Act of 1958.
Salary Table No. 39 will be approximately 9 by 12 inches in size
and will contain about 25 pages.
Departments and establishments desiring copies f the new table
should submit their requisitions through regular administrative channels
to the Public Printer, on Standard Form No. 1, specifying "U. S. General
Accounting Office Salary Table No. 39," for such quantity thereof as may
be needed. In order that all requisitions may be combined and the table
printed in one edition, such requisitions should be submitted not later
than June 2L, 1958.
There will be no distribution :f Salary Table No. 39 by the U. S.
General Accounting Office.
