Proposed Bill Regarding Retirement of Government Employees
1. The proposed bill regarding retirement of Government employees
has been reviewed. However, this Office does not have any recom enda-
tions in addition to those already discussed at the CIA Career Council
meeting held on Friday, 9 September 1955.
2. It is the opinion of this Office that employees of CIA should
be covered by the Retirement Act applicable. to Government employees in
general. Any special provision covering CIA employees should be
included in CIA legislation.
