1. Pursuant to our interest in personally interviewing some
selected Hungarian students And intellectuals in relation to our
youth study, I had an extended discussion this morning with
who is now heading a special unit study-
ing human behavior under conditions of stress. 25X1A9a
activities had been called to my attention by the Office of Opera-
tions when I discussed with them on 2 January the possibility of
arranging for the Hungarian interviews.

2. The essence of the discussion with was
as follows:
a. He is very much interested in the intent and scope
of our youth study and would like to collaborate in any way
possible.
b. Of interest to SRS probably far exceeding the youth
study alone is his project for motives available to the Agency
the professional advice and assistance of the country's
leading psychologists, psychiatrists, sociologists, etc. in
what he describes as an "inter-disciplinary" effort. For
