1. Mr. , CIA Congressional liaison officer, has been
assigned to the Office of National Estimates during the slack season in
connection with his duties on the Hill.
2. During the Director's absence on his trip, a weekly cable has
been sent to him on non-substantive matters. This office has not had any
occasion to contribute to the cable so far.
3. A certain amount of emphasis was put on contributions to the
Consolidated Charities fund, etc. etc.

4. The State Department has sent a formal commendation to the
