 INTERAGENCY BOARDS OF CIVIL
SERVICE EXAMINERS
The Interagency Board system, operated by the Civil
Service Commission, consists of 65 boards of examiners
located in Federal population centers throughout the
country. The boards provide a complete one-stop informa-
tion service so that all interested citizens may learn of
employment opportunities in the Federal government
service. This operation now permits interested individuals
to obtain from a single source full information about job
opportunities in the area as well as in other locations.
These boards also announce and conduct examinations,
evaluate and refer eligibles to employing agencies for
their geographic areas.
Additional information may be secured by writing to, or
visiting the nearest Interagency Board of Examiners.
Location and areas of jurisdiction for the 65 boards are
listed in this leaflet. Address all inquiries to the boards'
Executive Officer.
