Approved For Releass2001/07/12 : CIA-RDP.01826R0004030036-0 11 September 1951 MEMORANDUMFOR: Deputy Director/Administration FROM: Assistant Director (Personnel) SUBJECT: Career Benefits for CIA Personnel. 1. This has reference to a memorandum dated 5 September 1951 from the Director of Training to you through the DDCI, same subject. 2. lle certainly agree that the entire problem of career benefits is one of Agency wide concern and should be solved as rapidly as a feasible program can be developed. 3. At least part of this problem was studied at some length by a Hazardous Duty Committee in 1950. The report of this Committee titled "Hazardous Duty" was submitted to the DD/A by Mr. on 25X1A9a 11 December 1950. 4. Tire are restudying the proposals that were made in this Committee report and will add to it such additional items that we feel should be included. In the meantime, I feel that it is most important that this study of career benefits should not delay the whole Career Corps Program or that the present con- sideration of the Career Corps Program should not interfere with our progress on career benefits. Both should go ahead simultaneously. 25X1A9a DA ISON Approved For Release 2001/07/ti JP80-01826R000400030036-0
