Career Service Board
This Instruction establishes the organization, responsibilities, and
functions of the Photographic Intelligence Career Service Board.
Members of the Photographic Intelligence Career Serviceic-,ard (PICSB) are.
appointed by the Assistant Director for Photographic Intel-?_-;lence who is the
Head of the Photographic intelligence Career Service (IP). .he Board is
composed of a chairman an: eight senior members of the IP Career Service;
all appointments will be for indefinite periods of time.
3. RESPONSIBILITY
The Photographic Intelligence Career Service Board is responsible for
advising the Head of the IP Career Service on career management matters and
implementing the CIA Career Service Program as it applies to members of the
IP Career Service.
a. The Board reviews new or proposed changes in major policies and
programs in the field of career development for the IP Career Service, and
makes appropriate recommendations to the Head of the IP Career Service.
b. The Board reviews personnel actions for current or potential IP
Career Personnel in the following categories and makes appropriate
recommendations to the Head of the IP Career Service:
(1) Career Staff Membership and Career Planning
