SUBJECT: Career Program - Care~sr Development of Junior Personnel
1. Reference is made t ated 9 September 1954 on
the abova.Sub,~ect and Agency
2. As a result of a meeting of the CIA Career Council on 30 September
1854, certain changes ware made in the eligibility criteria regarding ap-
plicants fos? the Sub,~act program. The changes are ae follows: 25X1A
a. Tha requirement of having taken the BIC Course is waived ro-
vided the candidate has at least two (not three, as indicated in
years eervice with CIA. Z"ne candidate should, however, s n~
c u e this course in his Career Plan.
b. The requirement of a Bachelor's Degree may be substituted by
"its equivalent in terms of satisfactory Agency experience, or a combfnation
of formal education and, such experience".
3. Those employees who may have further interest in this program is
view of the changed eligibility criteria should contact the Training Branch,
A&TS for further explanation, guidance and copies of the application before
27 October 1954.
