Approved For Release 2001/08/01 : CIA-RDP80-01826ROd!lb0080030-1 9 August 1963 M4ORANDUM FOR: Chiefs of All Divisions and Staffs, Clandestine Services SU.B.TECr: Requirements for DDI Personnel to Serve Overseas in Clandestine Services Positions 1. As was discussed in a recent DDP Staff Meeting, the DDI has of- fered to provide a limited number of qualified DDI personnel to serve over- seas in DDP positions which require skills normally possessed by DDI person- nel. Although it is our primary objective that overseas jobs designated to the CSCS be normally filled by CS Officers, there occur from time to time field vacancies of this type for which no CS Officers are available. 2. In such cases, or if new positions of this type are clearly needed, please bring these requirements to the attention of the Clandestine Services Personnel Office. The Chief, CSPO will coordinate the filling of these va- cancies with the Assistant to the DDI (Administration). The ADDP has re- quested that this means of staffing field positions be restricted to genuinely urgent requirements and that the Divisions do not make direct contacts with DDI Offices to negotiate personnel transfers. 25X1A9a Approved For Release 2001/08/01 : CIA-RDP Acting MP/Op Group i Excluded from automatic 0*1440"g osModseltasi- fication.
